nametree on your phone
The same tree and the same names, plus what only a phone can do: swipe, decide together, try a name for a day.
Free. No ads. No account.
What it does
- Grow a tree. Type the names in your family and get a tree of names that fit them, with the reason for each one.
- Search a name. Meaning, origin and the popularity curve, in plain words.
- Browse. By sound, era, vibe and roots, and a new name with a new story every day.
- My list. Your favorites, with your own notes, ready to share.
A look inside
Only in the app
- Swipe through the names one at a time. The more you swipe, the better the app gets at picking for you.
- Invite your partner: you each swipe on your own phone, and you both see the names you both kept.
- Try a name for a day: it sits on your home screen, and you note how it felt.
- Works offline, in English, Spanish and Portuguese, light and dark.
