Question 2

What does the name Patrick mean?

Accepted Answer

Patrick is a name of Latin origin: "nobleman," from patricius, the Roman noble ruling class; the missionary saint made it Ireland's defining name, so thoroughly that Paddy became shorthand for Irishness itself. A green-blooded classic that wears equally well in Boston and Dublin. See the full Patrick page for its popularity history.
