The story
Daleyza is one of the youngest names in this library, and its national arrival is precisely documented: Larry Hernández, the regional Mexican singer, used it for his daughter, born in 2010, the cameras of Larrymania arrived in 2012, and American parents did the rest. The Social Security Administration measured the jump itself: in 2013 Daleyza climbed more than three thousand spots, the biggest gain of any girls' name in the country that year. The scholars' honest entry reads meaning uncertain, perhaps an elaboration of Dalia; the show never explained it, and neither will we. The record since: about 8,100 girls in the 2010s and 4,270 so far this decade, still arriving in numbers. It is a television name that outlived its season, which is the rarest kind, and whatever it means, thousands of families now know exactly who it sounds like.

Not on the Montevideo record for 1940 to 2011: that registry withholds nothing, so this spelling was not given there in those years. Not on the France record: nametree keeps spellings that reached 20 births in some year, so rarer uses are not shown. Not on the South Australia record for 1944 to 2017: that registry withholds nothing, so this spelling was not given there in those years.
